Car of the Month Photo Submissions

View attachment 15233

Here’s a fall pic.

Side note, I don’t know why it looks so dark posted here, it doesn’t look like that in my camera roll. 🤔

Great shot. I can fix the lighting. No problem. I love the clean look of your car. I'm seriously considering removing my door trim. Where did you get the GFX kit?

My submissions for Car of the Month photo:
1997 Ford Thunderbird LX Sport
Engine: 4.6L V8
Mods: None. The car is factory.
Years owned: Almost 20 years and a daily driver that's garaged and lovingly cleaned & maintained by me.

I'm close to photo worthy, but weather does not look conducive for the next few months... Hoping to get it back to the body shop for final cut and buff, and fix the hood. They cut the t-bird nose off and took about 3/8" too much off the center. Not sure it can be fixed...

Thanks for the PIX guys! I'll work them in next year.

I also need to get started on the 2026 Club calendar.

Hey Zep, Do you have any pix of your Cougar out of the garage without a Chevy tailgate on the wall in the background reflecting all over the hood?

😆

Would love to see some other pix of that beauty!

Roll 'er out into the driveway... even if there's some snow, it will make it picturesque if you do it with the sun at your back while it's low. Just keep it off the roads, away from the salt... and the other drivers!
It's in an enclosed trailer for the time being. Said trailer is in a snow drift... Hopefully I can get a picture at the body shop before I load it.

Well your bay, undercarriage and interior will be great too

It’s the Chicago burbs, everywhere looks like this 😆

Excuses, excuses! Time for a road trip! Get out of the city (weather permitting)! I used to do work up near Lake Geneva, WI. That area is beautiful! It's only an hour and 20 minutes north of you. You could find a more scenic location. Stop being so lazy! :mock:

Pardon me for showing some local pride 😝

My tune’s too much of a mess right now to confidently wander just 20 minutes lol

I understand. My car sat for like two years before Rob finally put a new engine in it. I know the weather up there is shit right now too.

Yeah it ain’t moving til march at the earliest, I have a hunch this is going to be a nasty winter.

Supposed to be a La Nina winter this year. Whatever that means. I'm guessing the white slop is here through the end of March for us. Much anger.
I'm sorry as an Albertan, I laughed a bit at the anger that there might be snow in march, meanwhile I'm stoked if the snow is maybe melting by mid-April and I can pull my car out. I guess I've gotten so used to it from 2 decades of snow pretty much always sticking around for all of march 😄

There is always snow here in March as well, but it usually doesn't start and stick until mid-late December. We've also had snow on Halloween, so no big deal. I was caught off guard this year and now I'm scurrying trying to get my rust-proofing done and some good tires on the Thunderbird so my wife can stop sliding off of roads. Snow is fun when you are 7 and you want to build a fort. All it is is a giant hassle in terms of commute time and then shoveling/clean up when I get home. I genuinely hate this time of year.
