At least he didn't come in thru the doggie door, and roll in your bed. :) That happened to a girl I knew in hs,lol.
 
A skunk 'decorated' dog,lol. I heard from another girl that her parents had to replace her bed, and most of the carpet. Doggie door went away too.
That happened a few weeks before my friend got himself covered, lol.
 
I've had 2 of 3 current dogs skunked.

The big one was repeatedly skunked because it kept going for the skunk. The smaller dog got sprayed and immediately came inside and rubbed himself all over the floor.

That was a "fun" night.
 
Some people think trash pandas are cuddly and cute; one of my relatives 'adopted' one, only to find the rabies vaccine doesn't always work. She wasn't pretty to start with, but now,it makes you wonder wtf!? Looks like she kissed a lawnmower. And had to take a full course of rabies shots.

I seriously want her to go to trial with that defense! Get expert witnesses in to testify that raccoons hoard all kinds of things out of the trash. Cross examine the cop to ask if he drug tested the raccoon for meth. That would be the best jury duty experience!
 
If it was the racoon's pipe, it would have torn the officer a new one,when he took it. He just pulled out another one, lol.
Must have been laced with fentanyl,lol.

Don't worry, I feel the same about father's day weekend 😀.

Like, why is there a need to dedicate a day solely to a parent when you have 364 other days to do so? Same goes for Valentine's Day. They're just Hallmark holidays to get people to spend money.

My Mom’s birthday is within two weeks from Mother’s Day, since grade school I’ve never failed to fail getting one right and one wrong 😆

Father’s Day is easy since they’re like 6 months apart, I think I accidentally got him the same golf hat on both occasions one year and he was happy lol
 
Best gift I ever got for a golfer, I had a customer at the electronics shop, I'd see occasionally at the bar. He called me at the shop one day in a panic, needing a tape removed from a vcr. He said if his wife saw it, he'd be divorced. :) I drove up to his house, removed the tape just as she came home. Dude is freaking. I noticed an extensive golf ball collection on his wall, so she walks in, sees me, so I said "Joe mentioned his collection today, so I came up to see it." So I listen to an hour of golf ball stuff. Turned out he ran the local driving range, and he always found odd ones that weren't ones he furnished. His prize was a george bush presidential ball. I asked him if he ever sold duplicates, and left with ~ 20 balls, and the porn tape. :)
He slipped me a wad of cash too,lol. Make friends with the driving range guy, for golfing gifts,lol.
 
We had an earthquake this morning! a 4.7. which is rare on this end of the state. I didn't notice it at all. I was out in the garage, moving some stuff, and came inside and saw the news talking about it. I'm sure our ca guys wouldn't have noticed,lol.

I was standing in a field in Kingston when it happened and didn't feel a thing. Wife said it shook the house in Loudon county. Friends in SC also felt it.

I'm guessing being on the other side of Watts Bar probably dampened it like a rubber motor mount for us.
 
And, another reason that I hate Utah, I recently stopped for gas in and the pumps had 85, 88 and 91 octane.

Now, 87, 89 and 93 is widely considered the norm for octane ranges in the east. Who TF decided to allow these lower ratings? It the octane equivalent of shrinkflation.

It’s a different world out west here. Apparently this is the norm out west. It’s just something that only a car guy would notice. 😆

Cool fun facts. Thanks for the info. Yeah, it’s definitely high here. I’m working at 5,080 feet. Home in Charlotte is like 750 to 780’.
 
200 feet above sea level here .. 91 octane is $5.67 last time I checked. 🙄
 
I'm at 883' above sea level, and our gas choices suck. 87 and 88 or 89 are the common pairing around here. Every once in a while you find 91 and 93 is even more rare. E85 is at 1/4 of the gas stations. If you do find 91 or 93, it's at least a dollar more per gallon. The rarity and cost is why I am putting big enough injectors and pump in my car to run E85. Still deciding on what to tune it on first. Leaning towards 91 and then next year try the E. Mostly for the more simplicity of the tune. We'll see how I feel next week😆
