Pretty clean '92 V6 car. Not sure what is up with the skull air freshener decor, but I digress.

Not sure about the grille insert thing, but the rest of the car is awesome. Unfortunately, it looks like it might be a little crunchy underneath.

That grille was part of a body kit the chin spoiler and rear spoiler were also from. I have no idea why the design was like that but it sure is 80s!

Nice optioned 96 Cougar, interior seems a bit rough for 112k miles. The sunroof is hard to find on the later year Cougars.

Auction reserve is probably set fairly high-
Currently appraised and insured by antique insurance company for $12,000

Yeah, I think I would've not installed that one piece and left the factory grille in place. The rest of it looks awesome though.

That is an aftermarket sunroof, not factory.

If it had the rest of the kit I’d totally keep it for the Robocop 6000SUX vibe lol

This is what the rear bumper/side skirt portions of the kit look like

Ehhhh..... Not for that price, my guy.

A MAAAHK7 has appeared!

This 5-Oh has seen better days. More of a parts car than anything, really.

Bet this one has a few issues wrong with it.

I think they look cool if done right.... Mostly the GFX need to match the engine, it better be flashy and faster than stock.
I was expecting to see a blower or maybe a 32 valve, not a stock 3.8

Most Tbirds with Xenon kits are all show and no go which is part of why I don’t particularly like them. Body kits on all cars in general really. Stock is sleeker,

I don't have a huge problem with them on a V6 car. I mean you can make your car look like whatever you want. I have always thought the aftermarket kits were just so over the top gaudy that I don't find them attractive for the most part. If they could dial back the front bumper cover and side gfx a touch it would be much better. Also, rare use of a 94/95 SC rear bumper cover.

Ok, so V6, trans needs replaced and over 200k on it... All that for 6 grand. Wow....😳

FWIW my opinion would be the same about it on a V8 car. Vermillion red on saddle is already fairly uncommon, why need a bulbous kit to “set it apart”?

SC ground effects are a different animal, much cleaner and not nearly as low. I mean look at the back of the 96 and tell me this doesn’t look like it has a full diaper…

Wings West is the only body kit that looks somewhat dignified on the '96-97.

The '94-95 Xenon kit also looked fine. Much better than the '96-97 at least.

The '96-97 Duraflex kit tries to cosplay a '94-95 front fascia and fails badly.

And then there's Razzi. We don't talk about that. Partly because I remember it was ugly, but also because I can't find a damn picture of it anymore to recall whether I still feel that way.

The '96-97 body doesn't lend itself well to a body kit and its round bottom looks very dated in 2025, but I still wouldn't put a body kit on it because they're not an improvement.

Totally agree. Wings west to me is what I imagine Ford might have come up with the SC continued, it’s a shame they’re so rare. The Kenny Brown Tbird had a nice looking one too but I don’t know who made it

I agree the 94-95 Xenons aren’t bad, I always dug their sample pic with the blue Cougar with it. I also like their kits on the 89-93 models, they had extensions that went all the way up to the side moldings making them look more integral. Once again digging into old mags, the tokico TbirdIMG_7519.pngIMG_7520.pngIMG_7518.png

Those wheels are stunning. They are probably impossible to find now, but what they are?
Reverse image search didn't come up with much beside some old photos. Nothing from North America.... Momo, and "Tarmac EVO" is all it could find.

I read the article again...

I'm surprised that Wings West kit is still available.

I think the problem with putting a kit on the 96/97 is they already have that side cladding and the front and rear bumper covers emulate that look. When you put these gfx kits on them then you wind up in the 90's Pontiac region.

A few 4.6 intakes.

I contacted this guy last November or so, but he wasn't interested in shipping it. Hard to say if he regrets that or not.

This guy has had this listed for a long time. Overpriced which is why.

Look like it's from an episode of Pimp My Ride or something

The trunk looks nice.

That green interior is also in good shape. Too bad it got all modded to hell, was probably a really clean stock looking car at one point.
