Post a picture you took today

Yeah it looks nice but it really is a totally different color from the 3 stage laser red was when new. Two stage only gets it into the ballpark.

I saw some bodyshop YouTuber about a month ago bitching about how customers bitch about the costs of bodywork… Yeah, because this sort of shortcut is practically standard practice with them, and You don’t know their quality of work until you find crap like that after the fact! There’s a total of 12 Phillips and 7mm screws and 10 plastic clips total for both splash guards, yet literally every repainted MN12 I’ve ever seen they not only aren’t removed, they don’t even at least take the minute and 37 seconds to mask them off in place!

For that matter and slightly off/on topic were the visible rocker seams left body color on MN12s or were they painted black from the factory? They’re black on mine but it might have been dealer undercoat since my car’s original owner in Dearborn MI ordered it with it but it’s a different texture than the undercoat and I’ve looked at un-undercoated MN12s with seemingly original paint both with and without black paint on the seams.
Rocker seams on the Cougar and '97 are body color, but on the '97 you have to scrape off all the grease and oil to get to it.

Update here -
Been little over a year since I posted that. Coco is now ~85lbs, and according to her DNA mostly Lab and some Pitbull.
She has grown into a big well-tempered dog and gets along great with our other pets. She guards the kids (and me lol) when we are outside like it's her job.

Really lucked out with finding her! We are blessed & lucky she showed up in our lives.
Rescue dogs rule. Friends of ours found our dog in a park. No tags, no nothing. Kids were throwing rocks at her, probably because she wanted to play with them. She's some kind of mix of terrier and pit bull. Great dog.

But you didn't finish your sentence!

"... but this... Is a POS!"
"....but this... resembles the space shuttle"
"....but this... makes me feel like I did when I drank 2 quarts of Coors Light at a party and they played Talor Swift all night."

Tell us how you REALLY feel Kidd! LOL

(just pulling your leg)

When I see it I don't know if I want it or I want to burn it to the ground.

I'm not sure.

That's really cool I found a similar one in SC years ago but I've long since lost the pictures.
That one was a road and not a train crossing probably built in the 1940's or 1950's.
Walking underneath it you could see the wood grain impressions in the concrete from where they placed the molds. It was so cool reaching out and touching history like that. The one in your picture - built with stone - looks even older.

https://historicaerials.com/viewer and clicking the tab under topos is a really cool source for this sort of info. if there's a defunct railroad structure there you can find not just the route it was once part of but what railroad it was part of, at least at one time.

Spotted these today… one might say the 62 Chrysler is the eye catcher here, but no for me it’s the A(Pre G) body Pontiac Grand Am that really stopped me dead. I have NEVER seen one of these in person before, only in photos, and usually of the 2-door. This might well be the last one left in existence in this region!

Yesterday I was on a job 220 miles away .. and the next day I'm on a different job building a swimming pool in fucking Oakland. 🤔

Back in 1997, my uncle drove this Dakota out of the showroom at Cogdill Dodge in Knoxville. 318 V8 and 4x4 with the factory off-road package. When I was younger, he'd take us out in it all the time.

He died in 2003 but my aunt kept it garaged nightly and drove it at least once a week. Outside of needing a wash, it is nearly immaculate. The spare key even has the new vehicle stock tag still attached to it.

I've been looking for a midsize truck for a while now but hadn't found one I felt good about. She recently decided to sell this one and I couldn't say no.

This is a nice oppurtunity. Early to say, but any plans with it yet? The condition looks half its age, but I don't know whats going on with the door

It's going to remain a 100% stock daily driver. Even the bed liner and vent visors are OE Mopar.

Absolutely zero plans for it other than continuing its dealership service history and driving it. My Edge is technically a company vehicle (despite me picking it out) so I try to limit my personal use of it. Personal use of company-provided vehicles is a taxable fringe benefit.

I had the door cracked on the truck because it was running and we hadn't found the spare key yet. Didn't want to risk the doors locking with nobody in it.

Very nice, I owned a 99 w/ the 318 and loved it.
