Post a picture you took today

I guess Ohio is one of the big producers of eggs?

At any rate they're usually about $2/doz at the grocery store. They shot up to and peaked at about $6/doz for a few weeks, but there was never a shortage; last time I looked they were down to $5ish. We don't use eggs much though, maybe a dozen every 4-6 weeks.

Agreed, Costco was the only place here where eggs were constantly out of stock where it would seem like there’s a “shortage”but it was mostly because of idiots panic buying like they did Toilet paper during the pandemic, the other stores always had plenty, they were just expensive.

Project for this weekend... Matching set of Eagle Eyes headlights and turn signals I got on eBay. Very happy with the quality of them, made in Taiwan surprisingly.

Going to put switchback LEDs in the center marker lights and rewire them so they are turn signal/running lights, I have zevo Amber leds for the corners already. Should be a big visual improvement over the worn-out factory ones

Nice!!!

I'd love a set of those...but in the meantime, I got a lense sanding kit from Harbor Freight the other day. It includes the drill attachment and various grades of sandpaper and polish. The result can't compete with brand new lights, but it's the best my lights have looked yet.

What the kit does  not include is any kind of sealer/clear coat, so durability may be an issue. That said, the kit I used last year (which was polish by hand only + clear coat) never went on perfectly smoothly.

Those look great for the originals. I could never get the yellow out of mine; tried sanding them down and polishing/clear coat. Only thing I didn't try was going at them with 80 grit  . The chrome is also flaking so I decided it was a worthwhile improvement.

Get new headlights while you can! With the age and obscurity of our cars who knows how much longer new ones will be made.

It's impressive how close these new ones are too original. If they had a Ford logo on them, I would never know they were reproductions.

That 1995 SC is a Chameleon Blue like mine. It was listed for sale on TSTSNBN for months.

Pretty sure vermillion Blue and Nightmist red are the two rarest t bird colors in 1995

Rose mist and Vermillian are what I believe you’re referring to for 95. The other color change color option for these cars was available in 93 only as Sunrise red(bright red to blue). All the rarest and among my favs (I’m a nostalgic millennial, sue me).

I would advocate against switchbacks (white/amber) if you're simply connecting the white light output to your parking light circuit. The result of that would be a parking light that is much too bright at night.
If you're connecting the white output to a dedicated DRL circuit, which is easy to do with a simple relay, then that'd be better.

Alternatively, you could do this mod, using amber bulbs only, which is a bit more involved:

I also use amber "Zevos" in front. Heads-up that they disappoint a little in terms of brightness difference between minor and major. They're workable, but they're not nearly is great as red Zevos.

It's not in the budget right now, but I hear you!

Rose mist is what some folks call it. If you pull the paint code its called Nightmist red. or red nightmist. I forget.
Don't think I've ever seen Sunrise Red!

I looked up all the factory sales brochures and made up this matrix of color combos. :)

I don't mean to be the "um actually" person but mine is a 1990 with Light Titanium Clearcoat Metallic with the Titanium interior, and I dont see that as a option combination, my question is was there any documentation that listed that as an option in 'Merica? or was that some weird Canada only option? I'm just curious, the list is great to have and appreciated greatly

I honestly can't say. My best guess is to reiterate the sad fact that the sales brochures didn't always reflect reality. I double checked and sure enough it's not listed for 1990.

I blame this disclaimer in the brochure.

yeah very interesting, I mean maybe they called it something different but I doubt it cause I know my interior is not black, blue, red or sandal colored so maybe the proof reader approved it on a Friday at 3 and was more worried about getting to happy hour with the engineers lol 😂

That setup you have looks good! I like the idea of a dedicated white DRL, maybe I'll go that route...

What I plan on is to have the inners white light match the spectrum of the headlights, and switch to amber with the blinker. At the moment it has white LEDs wired up as factory setup. I do like how that looks, kind of appears to be a larger headlight

I'll post some pictures and a video when I finally get some time to work on it. Been running the Zevo turn signals up front and in the taillights for years now. They seem decently bright, no complaints on them. I did get red color for the taillights

I want to see an example of the Sunrise red! Sounds fun.

Engineers!!!
I hear you and since I am one I can honestly say they come in all flavors based on their experiences good and bad! I am one of those diy ones who generally has grease under my nails. And if I ever get the chance to met one who puts them long ass bolts in places where you can't get them out for hitting firewall or the one who bolted the trans dipstick tube on the head of our 4.6l is getting a knuckle samich on me.

This is it. It’s hard to find pics that really captures the flip as it looks just like regular bright red otherwise, but you can see the blue pearl pop on this one(also has the rare white seats, as I’ve often seen with this color on both Tbirds and Cougars)

That is pretty sweet. That's a 95 color? Hmmm, Maybe when i eventually get to my red 95 tbird project maybe I'll shoot it this color rather than the other red. Would be cool to see the Rose mist car next to this.

I like the white seats with it.

My guess would be Canada had different combos due to the different seat belts and them not wanting to have as many options to make parts for up there.

I have personally seen, and have pieces from titanium interior 1990s that were US cars, so the Brochures don’t reflect reality. I just checked my 90 Cougar one as well and sure enough titanium or any other word for grey is not present. I now wonder if Ford intended to replace it with Ebony as that was added in 1990
