Post a picture you took today

Started on a new project last night. '89 Mustang GT convertible. Has a 331 stroker, but now bored out to 337. Has a Vortech V-2 blower. Apparently the owner burned a piston racing it. Took it apart, rebuilt the engine and got it reinstalled just in time to move. Been sitting for a few years. Car is extremely dirty/dusty. I was shown several bins full of parts and bolts. He tore out the stock ECU and wiring and began installing a Holley Terminator, but didn't get much further than getting the wiring harness into the engine bay. Up to me to try to figure out where everything goes now. Should be fun...I think?

I drove up to NY (from GA) to say goodbye to my mom who was dying in the hospital. I brought my MTB with me and thru on some slicks to help me cope with the ordeal. Here are some pics of a six hour ride I did up and down the shoreline of the Hudson.

My hotwheels/matchbox collection is buried in my grandmothers front yard, on property she sold in '77. I plan to go there with a metal detector and a shovel, and get them someday.

Attended a small carshow on Saturday to support their local Autocross organization. About 1.5hrs away the first real drive of the season for Sassy.
Lots of Tuner type cars cause of Autocross connection but good classics, muscle too.
Sassy did well in the prize collection with a best Classic award! But,,, in full disclosure some nice stuff left before awards.

Went to the Cleveland ARTCC (in Oberlin) today for "Operation Raincheck" - I went once about 10 years ago, but it was a good experience to go again with more flying hours in the logbook.

Cleveland Center was the facility that was in contact with United 93 when contact was lost on 9/11/01; the mural in the lobby has glass recovered from the cockpit.

Picked this up for my Dad. 2007 LA100 with the 19.5hp Briggs.

Old man owned with all services done at the local dealer. $950 including the bagging attachment (not pictured).

Ain't mad. Paid less for my Thunderbird though.
