The Halloween stuff, I'm not mad at. It's the first Holiday and decor for it should start rolling out now. But the "jolly days" shit. Fuck no. Not this early.
I mean, I was hoping that would be the case more than I was stating it as a fact, but I'm not sure there are words for how terrible that is then.I was there about a month ago and there was none that Christmas bullshit there at that time. So no, it's not on permanent display.
Weren't the owners of Hobby Lobby the folks that claimed that God told them they needed to stay open during the shutdown at the start of the pandemic?

I have always used copper. On my Mopar LAs, they last just fine. Here's the aluminum collector gaskets I swapped out on Sat. Does anybody know if the copper ones would last any longer.View attachment 13511
Are these guys in Plainville? LMK if you like them.Getting those awful exhaust tips replaced, decided to try my sisters friends shop.
Thanks!View attachment 13515
Ahh, much better.
Yup, Discount Exhaust. I actually know the owner, he came from another shop and I didn’t realize he was out on his own until my sister told me.
Highly recommended!
Pretty bird! Wasnt there a red foxbody on that lot?
I've been impressed with 100% graphite gaskets from RemFlex. I've only used them between the heads and headers, but I would think flange gaskets would work well. I have V-band clamps on the collector end, so never had a need to try their collector gaskets. Here's the aluminum collector gaskets I swapped out on Sat. That's not a good location for aluminum. Copper will last much better. Here's the aluminum collector gaskets I swapped out on Sat. Does anybody know if the copper ones would last any longer.View attachment 13511
Copper is supposed to be as harder or harder than aluminum on the MOS scale depending on the aluminum alloy (3 vs 2.5-3).Here's the aluminum collector gaskets I swapped out on Sat. Does anybody know if the copper ones would last any longer.View attachment 13511
I sent an email to LMR about the finish on the shift knob, and they sent me a new one, we’ll see how long this one lasts, considering I haven’t even really driven the car much at all since the trans swap.

Plan B: Purchase this knob, scratch off the shift pattern with a butter knife and redraw with a Sharpie and it will look brand new.If that one fails too keep a look out for the Ford Racing ones, they pop up from time to time on EBay. They’re real leather and don’t seem to have those finish issues(I’d sell you mine but I’m always toying with using it). You can tell them apart visually as the Ford leather is smoother and less grainy than the LMR. (Same with the LMR FR500 steering wheels I’ve seen)

Tne melting point comes in too, aluminum melts at campfire temps, copper does not.Copper is supposed to be as harder or harder than aluminum on the MOS scale depending on the aluminum alloy (3 vs 2.5-3).
The soot on the gaasket makes me wonder if you should match the gasket to the opening better (maybe use a grinder/dremel) to goatse up the gasket.
