Post a picture you took today

not today but yesterday, I got a new aftermarket cat and rear exhaust section, new hardware, and hangers. Wasn't cheap but I dont have the tools, time, or knowhow to get this repair done quickly. Hopefully insurance will cover it and not make a fuss about the age vs cost of repair as im not sure how they feel about a 20 year old honda. Feels good tho to have her back, next up is ordering an aerogenics cat cover.

We called our idiots "Key Experts. It was a promotion away from design, so they couldn't fuck up as much stuff.


To protect the cat, you could use a variant of my stereo protection; get a box of old school razor blades, bend a v into the middle, and solder it to the pipe, right where they'd grab it to pull themselves under it.

Decided to treat myself. I havent gotten a good winter coat (that wasn't work-issued) since my senior year of high school, so I figured it was time. I'm also ordering the polarquilt liner for the cold months. If it holds up as well as they say, I won't have to get another one until one of my kids is tall enough to steal it from me.

As is customary, it has already found its home in the front seat of our utility vehicles.

Nice. I've always been partial to the '63s. My cousin's first car was a '63 Impala. Root beer brown with a white top. 327/350 combo. It was loud and he drove it like a bat out of hell. I think that was the car that got me into cars in the first place. I sometimes wonder if I would be as into cars as I am if he never got that.

63 is my fav too, odd numbers always were the best full size Chevys minus 59-60(I like the 60 way more) but 55,57, 61, 63, 65, 67 were all excellent where the in between date kinda meh.

I think we all have a gateway car. I’ve always been into cars as far back as I can remember, built and collected models etc. but I think the car that really got me into real cars in the specific way I’m into cars was my friend’s dad’s uncle and his other friend who had a 350sbc swapped Fiero and a kind of cobbled but still badass white with black Z/28 stripes 68 Camaro and also some sort of SBC, but it had dual quads and a oval Ford air cleaner sticking out of the hood which I didn’t realize until way later.

Interesting observation about the odd year Chevy's. I never noticed that. Although I do prefer the '59 over the '60. We still have the '67 Biscayne I talked my dad into buying with me back before I could even drive.

They are off of a 2013-2014 fusion sport. I plan on painting them and putting them on my car, and yes I did pick them up and put them in the back of the truck 👍

They probably don’t require a spacer to physically bolt up but typically wheels made for FWD cars tend to have a lot more offset than our cars are designed for giving the appearance of a tippy toed railroad maintenance truck, which spacers within reason can resolve

I am going to clean them up and try them on tomorrow so we will see.
