We typically see 2-3 snows each year, buy rarely over 6"; I've only built snow forts twice as a kid.
Our biggest snow ever was 23", in 1993.

I ordered a set of studded snows should be here in the next day or so. Car has traclok, so it doesn't go bad as long as it doesn't have all.seasons on it.

Continuing my IFR training, the goal was to be rated by the end of January and I'm on track so far.

Tonight's flight wasn't in the clouds but ATC was vectoring me all over the place because there was a lot of scheduled air carrier traffic when I was up. And there was a brutal 60 MPH wind from the southwest at altitude!
