Post a picture you took today

I rode trial bikes, isdt racing; we did everything from long loops on fire roads, to river crossings on boulders, no feet touching, to mx supercross type sections. You should try 15 foot high jumps at 70,lol.

Trials; more the top one than the bottom. but still a mix of both.

I was getting ready to ask Chat GPT about these pictures, but wondered if anyone knows anything about this toy car. We found it at my uncle's place this summer.

I remember seeing one exactly like that in my great grandparents house on my father's side. Played with it once. Had an area for some batteries and would just scoot around the floor on its own randomly. It was neat

Chat GPT found it's a post WWII Japanese tin car. Post war because it has "D" batteries. Pre war would have been wind up. It seemed to believe late 50's early sixties, which would have put my dad in his late teens. My uncle was 2 years older, so I'm not sure who's it was.

Part of me wants to try to take it apart and get it going, but I don't want to mess it up. Great conversation piece of nothing else.

Usually what happens is old batteries rust them to bits.
Open the battery door and post a pic.
It's valuable if in good shape inside.

**OCD intensifies**

At least you don't live with it!

It's certainly demotivating me to go in my garage for anything.

What's worse, is that a good chunk of this isn't even mine! Well, at least it wasn't until it was gifted to me about a month ago...

My wife's uncle is going through a divorce and to get rid of stuff he's like, "hey you want a couple tools?" I thought "sure, I could use a nail gun".

No.

He literally gave me HALF OF HIS GARAGE!!!!

I need to go down to Goodwill or something to get rid of stuff because I know I don't need a good chunk of this stuff myself.

I got above average on my engineering mechanics class this term, it was a tough class, the midterm and final both had a 40% average which means the prof didn't do as good a job as he should have

Holy crap! I just noticed, are those Bilstein Fronts laying on your engine? Where did you get those? They've been out of production for years.

What's the story on those?

Those indeed are the Bilstein fronts laying in my engine bay.

Story is, I'm doing the 3000GT Bilstein mod. I had them powder coated to match the Bilstein yellow! More info in my thread.
