Post a picture you took today

Sorry to read that Dan. I absolutely hate Corporate GPS tracking and those 1-800-how’s-my-driving stickers that companies put on their vehicles. The company I used to work for started that crap back in the early 2000’s. I quit very, very soon after that and went to work for a company that treats us like adults and uses rental cars for transportation. Haven’t had a driving complaint since and I’ve got to drive some really sweet vehicles over the years. I’m like a kid in a candy store on the rental car isle.

Its for the company insurance. I work for a small recently divorced mom and pops recently recovery from rebab shop; not a global conglomerate. 😉 it's afforded me a lot of opportunities and they treat me well. Long story short, it started after one of our former employees used the company truck for personal use, filled up the gas tank twice In one day .. which wasn't the problem - it was that he lied to the owners. At least I have a regular personal vehicle to take home, I don't need to marinate in other people's disgustingness that comes with the rental variety. 🤣

My boss would not let me stick a label to his forehead, lol

Did you title that label ASSHOLE. ?? 🤔

Considering the ram 1500's curb weight is around 5,000 lbs, I think that would be quite the dog

Also; three utility tool boxes in the bed chock full of shit, and a pipe rack.on top of that. 😬

send their HR or Safety department a professional and courteous email

Our company policy / slogan is "Go Fuck Yourself" 🤣

Awesome! I did mine about 9 years ago. It still looks just as good.

And to my recommendation sometime earlier on the subject of repaint, you did remove the roof trim prior to painting, correct?

It's easy to remove, just rivets in front and two 9mm nuts (accessible from the interior) in the back.

Much easier than masking everything off, @Little Ice-Cable

We did, I think you told me about that a few weeks ago.

Yep, I removed all the trim. I had the original windshield replaced back in 2008, they removed the trim then, they replaced the rivets with trim screws and they’ve been on there since.

Were you the zodiac killer, by chance. Hidden messages kick my ass.

Did that guy use Ford EVTM type-o’s for cryptic messages? If so; Mind your Ps and Qs! 😆
Shit, I saw the 42-3 pointed to, the 42-4 underlined and then 42-1 with parentheses, and a damn bird. I thought for sure I was supposed to decode, and I'm still working after 14 hours and my mind ain't right

I'm certain the last two pages of your EVTM is are still intact; if so, you're part of the problem and not the solution. 😉

I never liked that trim on the roof of the Thunderbird, espcially here in the south where the heat makes them ripple. Yuck!

Cougars had the same trim between 89-92, but yes I don’t know why when Ford updated it in 93 the Tbird didn’t get a similar treatment with the standalone window trim and body color roof seam covers. The 93-97 Cougar windshield trim is actually shared with Mark VIIIs so they’d still save money applying it to Tbirds

See the problem here? This is the engine in that gpu I posted a pic of. 20250115_094904.jpg

That is true but not correct. That's the back of the engine where the generator is bolted up.
The piston looks washed in the middle left, by the scratches. Direct injection?

That is correct also but the arrow on the piston is pointing the wrong way. All 3 pistons are like this, the middle one is damaged much more on the left side. It is direct injection and it needs the cast trough in the piston for some clearance for the fuel and I assume the 2 circles help with turbulence to help with the burn. The best part is this was done by a mechanic at my work years ago when he worked at the place we got the gpu from.

GM direct injection pistons have the cup in the center of the position, not in the middle of what look like valve reliefs. That's nuts, and a big f up.
