Looks like something Id do during a busy drift seasonJust a screenshot I took today. The automotive equivalent to "Let's not overthink this".

I used some of the weirdest things lying around to make something else out of it. Necessity truly is the mother of invention. Or is just being broke that motivates us?View attachment 12193
I still find the Pedigree dog food bucket air box mod hilarious yet functional AF.
Dunno what is up with Raxles anymore. I used them to replace both front halfshafts on a Subaru several years ago. I think I did one side maybe a year before the other. Warranteed one out for a cracked/split boot after about three years. Same thing with the other side. Then another 3-4 years and the boots are cracked again. I just took them out and replaced the inner and outer boots myself with some aftermarket parts.View attachment 12192
Not sure what or how this happened. R-Axel from back in the day when they were a somewhat good option. The other sdie has a small "pinch" as well. CV-Source in Bufford, GA is a good joint rebuilder and a good guy, I figured I'd like him go through them. Both spindle Hub/bearings need to be replaced too but that seems to be common with Cougie's 1-2 shuffle.
They are not done either fixing it up. Did you enquire if it was available? If you have the time, some money, it would be worth fixing up, getting running and turn it over to someone that can really upgrade it to its previous life.Drove by a dealership / auto repair shop and spotted a turbo coupe, not sure what the story is on it, and stupidly only snapped one pic.
It’s rough on the outside, but zero rust, it has a Texas inspection sticker on it. Someone definitely put some money into the engine.

Maybe if you shim the K member down a touch.
I think you might need a cowl hood but yeah it should bolt right in.
In all seriousness though, this is really cool what's it for? is it just on a metal pallet connected to a generator or something?
Unless it were to "disappear" and end up in your car for some mysterious reasonI'm doing some work at a college at the moment - they built a new facility to combine their automotive technology department / paint and body / and diesel workshops. The engine is on a skid for classroom training; it doesnt serve any other purpose.![]()
