Is it cool to wear all of the brake pad on the front wheels

Is it cool to wear all of the brake pad on the front wheels
I've never heard best looking when discussing a corvair. My 2 would be Vette and then Nova. How weird, first two black MN12s in one day, today the two best looking Chevy’s of 1966.

It was when I was trying to find ceramic brake pads and not the trash semi-metallic pads, I tried to keep em clean but one ride and they were coated. I found ceramic ones and it is so much betterIs it cool to wear all of the brake pad on the front wheels![]()

That's such a sleepy, fun color. Never see them being sold
It matches the posted speed limit, I'm sureWhat's the ECU speed limiter set to again?
Haven't had the opportunity to test it yet.
It’s like 107ish IIRC
Factory speed limiter has been 109mph on every 4.6 MN12 I have owned.
Great pictures! Thanks for sharing!Watched the sunrise today. Even Daisy had to stop for a second.
The automatic 94/95 SC had the same driveshaft, but came with H-rated tires, so the speed limiter on those is around 125-127, to match the 130mph limit of H-rated tires.
My guess would be for such low production numbers, they weren’t worried about getting sued. But then that doesn’t explain the lack of any speed limiter on all 89-93 SCs, so who knows. All I know is it isn’t cause of the driveshaft. That doesnt explain the non existent speed limiter on the 94/95 5 speed SC unless they came with different tires.![]()

..and she's off to a new home with another Bay Area/Santa Cruz team. This tbird will race again at Sears Point soon (hopefully this fall).
It's been a blast. Now I can focus on my EV conversion project (83 Ferrari Mondial) esp since I just punched myself in the nuts by figuring out that the axle shaft angles are too severe and I'll need to go with splitting up my Tesla LDU to make it fit. At this point, what's another $3K in machined parts?
I also need to figure out what kind of racing I want to try next after Lemons and the Mexican 1000. I'm toying with the idea of the Maroc Challenge

Maroc Challenge | The Dakar of the 70's for today's adventurers
No matter what your expectations may be, the Maroc will always surprise you. It doesn’t really matter if you are looking for a personal challenge or...www.marocchallenge.com
PS. I already told Tyler and his crew about this website. Hopefully he'll join shortly. If he doesn't want to keep some of the unobtanium parts I sold him like the ABS bleeding tool or the B&M short shifter, he knows this is the place to come.
Nope, just a straight lottery. It's estimated that 2mil people are in the lottery all going for about 10,000 tickets per day. And if you win them, you win the chance to buy tickets for one day only and you can't resell them. Prices are $140 a person, so honestly not bad.One of those Ultra-Exclusive events where you need to know somebody who knows somebody, or be related to or associated with somebody, or pay out the nose to get tickets?
