Post a picture you took today

If it's in the pic a part yard, no one died.
Not true. Insurance is going to get their salvage bid no matter what the circumstances are.

The lack of blood stains leads me to believe they either walked away or they died of internal injuries.

Understood. I guess Im wrong. Always room to learn

Could even be the car just got clipped hard by some idiot while it was parked on the side of the road.

Reason # 11,004 why E85 is better than premium. Today’s prices.

E85 energy/gallon: 23.97 kWh equivalent
E10 energy/gallon: 32.78 kWh equivalent
E85 energy density: 73.12% of E10

E85 price/kWh equivalent: $.1026/kWh
E10 price/kWh equivalent: $.0872/kWh
E10 is still the better buy with 18% more energy for your dollar

Not doubting that it makes more power in boosted engines that are tuned which is usually the point but from what I've seen, for regular cars that while they can take it, the worse fuel economy usually completely negates the savings at the pump, unless you find you get better milage with it in your car, in which case it is a great buy.

The price difference of $1.20/gal between E85 and 93 is $1.20/gal. Presuming filling up on 14gal of fuel, that's a cost savings of $16.80.

The E85 wins here as it's got a 33% savings over 93 pump fuel.

I definitely need the knock resistance. My car will not run well even on 93 pump gas. I still need to add an octane boost to keep it from detonating but on the E85 she runs smooth as silk and makes more power. I have like 11.5:1 CR on the engine.

My last truck lost 25% mileage or so, and it ran so much better on E85. If it was 20% or more cheaper, I ran out unless it was below 40°. At that point it did start very slow and the mileage got really bad.

You get a two for one (or three for one as it were). First is a burnt up coil that I had to dig out of a spark plug well on a 2008 MKX last night. When I first started pulling chunks out I thought somebody had JB Welded the boot and just stuffed it in the well.

I went to the junkyard, but the car I was looking for was apparently gone. Might as well get my $2 worth and some exercise while I was there and I came across this gem. Looks like a non-turbski 2.2 5 speed. Interior was extremely clean. I'm guessing Michigan rust is the only thing that did this in as the whole car looked pretty well cared for.

Even without the Turbo it looks like a decently enjoyable driver with the manual. People shit on Probes because it was supposed to replace the Mustang but apples to apples the V6 Probe is a better and more practical car than a V6 SN95s or 4cyl foxbody it internally competed with, it just had an gross name. First gens look very 1980s so they haven’t aged super well styling wise but they were very true to the concepts Ford was putting out back then which deserves some kudos

From yesterday. New job. I think I can see Gunns house from here. 😉

Came with a $12/hr. raise - but we only work 7 hours in "the city", so I actually took a pay cut making $12 less per day. Skip breaks/ lunch and my daily shift ends up being 6.5 hours long. 🤔

Enjoy your time off in that beautiful place.

This place is a shit hole.
Sorry to hear that. Shit holes have their own kind of charm. I try to make the best of them or take the long drive to a non-shit-hole location in the area if I can. Speaking of shit holes, I’m heading to Houston on Monday for a quick job there.

First day here, my boss shows me the needles some dope fiend left behind on top of the steam boiler. Charming. 🤭
