Post a picture you took today

Hey Kevin, take a propane torch next time to heat up those lug nuts. They will break loose in no time after heating them up. Last time I went, I took my dolly and loaded it with a tool bag and other crap so I would have everything I needed and something to hall the junk back to the car.

Frack... that really looks COLD! I hate the cold.

But. I'm not trying to loosen lug nuts? Around here they have a bunch of broken down wheel barrows for you to haul tools and parts in. If you're lucky, you get one where the handles are actually attached to the tub and it doesn't steer hard to the right every time you try to move it. The fancy places make you pay a $20 deposit to make sure you bring it back.

All yards here offer wheelbarrows to use for free. Torches are not allowed in the yards here, and they do check your bags.

Honestly, I'd love a nice set of wheels. 16" or 17" would look great. But what holds me back is that A. the purchase would have to coincide with new tires (my current set still has some life in it), and B. that you need four; I could justify the price of one wheel, but four? Rather save that money for necessary repairs.

Also, I don't hate my stock wheels. Sure, they're small, but they fit the style of the car, and the tall sidewall helps ride comfort.

thats kinda where my mind was with the sc wheels, they would be cool but it is a bit frivolous considering my factory wheels are still mint, I just gotta use oven cleaner to get the hard stuck on brake dust off in the spring but the faces still looks brand new, so it just doesn't make a whole lotta financial sense, especially for a car I only drive 3 months of the year

I saw these Ford, Mustang and even Cougar cologne sets at Macy's yesterday.
Alas, no Thunderbird cologne LOL
The Cougar one was $9.99, which is a fairly good deal just for the life size emblem. View attachment 15801
Those are probably quite old and have been sitting on a shelf in a warehouse since at least last Christmas.

I bet if they repackaged it as “Cougar FOR WOMEN” it would sell out real quick.

If it doesn’t smell like exhaust and friction modifier I’m going to feel very ripped off

I heard theres a cologne that uses gasoline and leather notes called Fahrenheit Dior. Haven't tried it though.

Haha. Cologne.
My girls mom gave me some cologne at Christmas a few years ago. She didn't understand why it was in the sale bin probably. When you put that shit on, the girls just can't say no.

That looks like a scene from I’ve road truckers. Man I don’t miss driving in that crap.

Any routes/roads/grades in your area where chains/studded tires are required? Do (m)any people tend to run with them anyway?

I imagine the question is directed toward 3_97 but we almost never get snow. There are several people who drive with studs here for months to be prepared for, at most, 5 days of 2 inches. The noise drives me crazy. The roads magically get torn up by RPMs of metal

Chains are only required on big rigs on certain hills. These guys crash all the time. Regular vehicles require the winter snowflake tires on highways.
Most people up here where we actually get winter, run studded October to April.
People down in vancouver don't even buy snow tires for their 3 days of snow a year. When it does snow there, the roads are at a standstill because people still try to drive. They forgot last year's attempts.
You can run all seasons in town up here in winter, but you would regret it.
I had to drive home one christmas day just across town with my all seasons in my bird, and it was the sketchiest thing ever. Touch the gas and you are sideways, touch the brakes and you speed up...
Actually, sketchiest ever was back in about 2007 or so, I bought a traclok diff from this guy in edmonton, and had no idea about shipping things, so I hopped in my one legged bird and headed to edmonton, 500 miles each way. It started snowing as soon as I left Kamloops, and snowed all the way there, and all the way back. I had winter tires on it without studs, but I thought I was going to die.
Shipping would probably have been 50 bucks.

I used to drive 3-4 days each winter in snow; all seasons with deep rain grooves are what you want in winter here.
I was outside yesterday in shorts; it was 60. Supposed to be warmer tomorrow.
62 now, at 11 am, lol.

The green bird. This is the fastest one out of the three. I have to move the white one across town later today, it has studded snows on it.
