The Unofficial "Ask a Stupid Question" Thread

Those are a foot longer than the 2v set I have.
Those are gonna rock!
So have you managed to scare yourself with the new cams?
I was surprised when I put the pi cams/intake on. :)
Im a little confused by your question. What should I be scared of?

I misread the thread; I thought that was a pic of matt's new kooks, which he recently added, along with bitchin' cams. Thats the scary I speak of. So the headers in the pic are longtubes for what, by who?

I have no clue who they are by, but I was told they were got a 2v mustang.

These are the ones I've got.

I nearly forgot, I have a rusty old pair of 4V MACs to compare, I’d definitely say they were made with the same jigs as yours. The collectors are shorter because the PO welded them directly to the exhaust and cut them off 🙄 I intended to address that but went to Kooks instead

I have not used that, but have you already exhausted the option of "high mileage" type oils?

My last oil change, I used Super Tech Advanced High Mileage, and after 3,500 miles the oil is still at the full mark.

The previous four oil changes were Valvoline Restore and Protect, which cleans the engine and may have cleaned away some "sealing sediments", which resulted in the oil dropping to about halfway between full and low on the dipstick by the time the next oil change was due.

My oil seems to be coming from higher up though. Not sure if these oils do anything for main seals.

I’m not a fan of these sorts of additives, much preferring alternatives like thicker, ATF or high mileage oils but I have had some success with Blue Devil. Never used it in an engine but it did cure a differential leak

My rear main also leaks, I tried using a high milage oil and it still seeps so this summer I think I might try something like this, just to test if it works and get it to stop occasionally dripping
