As mentioned in the junkyard crawl thread, I'm really interested in installing a Mark wiper motor into the MN12.

On the Mark, when not in use the wipers descend into a lower park position.

Is it necessary? No. Does it appeal to my inner geek? Oh yes.

So far, what I think I determined is that the connector on the Mark motor has seven wires vs. only six on the Bird.

I have the diagrams for MN12. Could anyone provide me with the wiring diagrams for the Mark VIII? Any year should do. Otherwise the diagrams for any Ford with that type of wiper motor, e.g., 90s Panthers.

Thanks in advance.

I was mistaken; the Tbird "module" is integrated into the dash fuse block.

Here's the Mark diagram and module location .. if you had the Mark wiper motor and module with pigtails; it would just be a matter of re-wiring some of the original wires at the fuse block and adding a couple extra wires for the park sensor.

After doing some more research on this, the parking mechanism seems to be quite prone to failure when lube gets dry or dirty, or when the metal guide wears down. The result is that, instead of going into the parking position, the wipers end up parking half way up the windshield.

I still think I'd love that little dance though...but I think I'll step back from this to give priority to some other projects. Still pondering a backup camera.
