Hey Joe, I am following up on your question about "how my exhaust sounds" now, after hours of running the car and taking it for a long drive today, the glass packs have settled in. I keep thinking I have an exhaust leak, but I know its the glass pack rattle, which I have to roll down my windows when I am backing out of the garage to get the full effect of using glass packs with the stock OEM's. I can pretend I have a race car...How does it sound?
Joe
Wow! It's nice to hear stories of good samritans looking out for those that don't have a voice. In the late 70's, I lived in ATL, and had a neighbor in the bldg across the street with a Nova with open headers. every morning at 5:30, he'd start it, and do a burnout to the corner. After a month of that shit, my buddy and I went out one night, and put the rear axle on blocks, so the rear wheels exactly weren't touching the ground. He went out the next morning, and instead of a burnout, sent pieces of the engine to the corner, lol. I could hear applause from both apartment buildings.
He got the idea, after that. I found out later that someone else had added a quart of nitromethane to the gas tank, lol.
