Post a picture you took today

It’s blue and has 8 cylinders. Shows you how much I know about blocks. That’s why I write checks to get my work done. 😆

Now in fairness I’d need google to remind me if it’s a 302 or 351, but I can tell it’s a Windsor and not a Cleveland, let alone a 4.6 😆

Easiest tell is the distributor hole. If the top of the wall to the valley is pretty much flush with the distributor opening, it’s a 289/302. If the wall sits about an inch above the distributor opening, it’s a 351.

While I do want to pull and go through the engine in the Cougar, this one is the original 302 Windsor block from my Dad's '73 Mustang. Assembling it as a 347 with AFR 185 heads and 9.96:1 CR. It should be a decent street car when it's all done. Waiting on more parts at the moment.

Took this while pushing snow this morning.

I almost can’t look at those anymore without hearing the mouthbreathers say “tHaT’s ThE oG cYbErTrUcK”

… taking away the fact that the only commonly is the stainless finish and the having some sharper edges compared to modern egg cars(which so was literally other car manufacturered in 81-82)

…. Oh and that an actual competent designer designed the DeLorean and it’s actually a good looking car

I bought the Dorman ones of Parts Geek... I'm expecting them to leak but I needed some quickly because my last ones were broke.
I got the side lights on RockAuto for half off, it was a heck of a deal. Keep checking RockAuto, they may bring the price down on the headlamps to half eventually (if they don't sell them all first).

THAT IS NOT the same Delorean that Dereck drove from LA to Tennesse last week and had major issues with. The one he had was a total POS. 8-)

And Dereck had no problem expressing how he felt about the car.

I was watching that on and off for the past few days, best episode he’s had in a while, what a terrible car to drive cross country between no heater, Porsche transaxle, MSD ignition box and delorean layout I knew I’d be entertained and I was right 😆

Of all the cars he had in the garage / shop, he picked the biggest POS to try and drive cross country. I would have taken the 59' El Camino myself. Through the whole show I kept shaking my head and asking "wtf was he thinking!?"
