At least it’s a spot fully hidden by the bumper cover where you could repair it later without effecting the visible paint if you wanted, classic cars even from the southwest often rust in that same spot but it’s on exterior metal.
Yeah I decided to take care of it now, so it does not get worse. At least it’s a spot fully hidden by the bumper cover where you could repair it later without effecting the visible paint if you wanted, classic cars even from the southwest often rust in that same spot but it’s on exterior metal.
Looking nice. I just finished shoveling so it will be a little while before I can wash my car. Is that the SuperCouper Performance Hood? How do you like the fit/finish of it? Did it require much work to get it looking good?

Damn Ron, I went into my garage just to contemplate plans for a moment and I nearly froze to death. Luckily my car is still cleanish from my annual wash lol
Oh and fix your taillights
I tell ya what. I'll fix my tail lights when Oscar finishes that 10K RPM engine build.
Machined a pair of hubcentric wheel spacers for my daughter's ATV this morning to add some rear track width and make it more difficult to tip. She said, "challenge accepted". Lol. Yeah kid, you can still hang tires if you crank the bars hard at full throttle.

Nothing now, warmer weather last week and rain washed it away. We're missing this storm coming up, sounds like the Mid-Atlantic might get hit pretty good with snow and ice.How much snow do y'all have on the ground?
Storm is going south of us (Northern Iowa). We currently have a trace on the front, but it's 17°Looks like everyone needs an atv tomorrow; Snow from Kansas to Maine. We're supposed to get snow, rain, and snow tomorrow; It's been below freezing all day, so whatever we get early will stick; if it stays cold, and rains, we could get an ice storm, which happens every 10 years or so. Had one in 80, in ~88, 94,06; we're overdue. Can't even walk on pavement in one. Kaatu is pissed because I don't let him out when it's below freezing. It's 25 here.

The right tool for the job makes work fun!
My wife wants a rug like that in front of our wood stove.
Plastics (clear envelope liner), smooth paper (advertisements) and some colored ink in mail corrispondace can cause unwanted creosot to the flew and puts horrible chemicals into the air when it burns (if unfiltered). So I shread the mail first, then burn it.I want to get my fireplace swept/inspected, but I'm worried that they'll 'have' to do something drastic like new mason work. I'm sick of using a shredder for all the bullshit mail
Good information. Thank you. I was just on their website a few days ago and wondering if that was the same hood. I just estimated a shipment cost per their instructions and it is about $430 to ship so it would be around $1200 for my hood ('96/'97). There is a guy way down in Missouri with one for sale. It might be worth the hassle to just drive down there and get that.Thank you. It's a Fiber Concepts hood. They're out of Warminster, PA.
If Bill at SCP sells them, Fiber Concepts is where he gets them from. It looks like his price is slightly less that the Fiber Concepts price (720.89 vs. 744.00) but be careful ordering from him. He's known to price gouge on shipping. I'd reach out to Fiber Concepts first and see what they say. You can reach them at 800-672-1238.
The Part # is: CHA-C78 '94-'95 - Thunderbird Cobra R
You can get them directly from Fiber Concepts at the link below. (Sidebar) I'm so glad to see that they're still in business, their website is still up and these are still available! I haven't looked at them in years.
I haven’t had any issues with mine. I’m not home now or I’d send you a picture of it. Hope to be home by this weekend if you’re interested.Good information. Thank you. Any issues with your hood latch? I read several instances of it tearing out of the hood which is why a lot of people have hood pins.
