Post a picture you took today

Not a bad looking wheel but they're not fusion sport wheels. They only made sports from 17-19, they are 19×8 and they have a 14mm wheel stud. The previous generation sport had the 5×4.5 bolt pattern, not sure what size they were. Those look like focus wheels to me but still tons better than they ever made for our cars originally...
 
Those were the wheels from the 2013-16 Fusion SE/SEL w/ Sport Appearance Package. That package gave you those 18" wheels, a spoiler, fog lights, and leather seats on the non-Titanium models. They are 5x108 with the 63.4mm centerbore and ET55 offset like all the other FWD Ford alloys from this era.

I know this because it was the one option package I did not select on my 2013 FFH SE simply because I wanted cloth seats. I added the fog lights on my own from a scrapyard donor and swapped on a set of FST wheels when the factory Michelins wore out.

I didn't know what type of wheels they were, but I heard somewhere they were fusion sports. I tried to put them on today and they did rub, but they looked good, so now I have to put the spacers on

Crappy matte finish. I guess they don't polish them anymore. Probably depends on the brand.

I've got some fresh exhaust tips sitting in my garage. Been too lazy to find someone to weld them on for me.

Those don’t look too bad, mine look about the same close up but from a distance they look chrome, and they’re also magnaflow tips(with an older logo). They should be pretty easy to polish to a mirror finish

🤣 I’m a certified “master” weld inspector, not a welder. Having said that, I could weld them on. I just don’t have the equipment. It’s not cost effective for me to buy everything for two tack welds.

It’s ok, I guess I should come clean, I wrote a check to have my exhaust welded too… that’s right, I didn’t make these welds with my harbor freight flux core🤯😱

1 inch spacers, they need paint really bad, I don't know what color I should go through 🤔

I think they look really sharp in the silver color they are right now. What size tires are you running? Those look a little short.

I think they would look even better if you could figure out a T-Bird logo to cover up the Ford blue center caps.

I was thinking black, but I'm not convinced, I didn't even look at the tire size yet because I need a little thicker tire. I was thinking of doing a 1st gen thunderbird crossed flag emblem on the center caps.

Been a long few days. Flew up to NJ, was up for 24hrs by the time I got home. Slept about 4 hours, got my appointments taken care of and switched the cars around, and prepared. Early Saturday morning I bombed down to FL. Took my dog with me. Originally she was gonna stay with my mom up in Jersey but she hurt her leg and is no longer allowed to climb stairs or even run. Since my mom's house is mostly stairs, she's now with me. At least for the next few months.

All of the CWI's tell me the same story. Two tacks is just a harbor freight away .. 🤣

This is about as early as it'll be for snow here in the region.

Depending on when in spring, yes, you could have seen snow up in the mountains. Going to Joshua Tree, you have Big Bear / Arrowhead to the north and Idyllwild / San Jacinto to the south. Both are easy to look at from The 10 FWY on your drive to / from Joshua Tree.

Also, if your brother is still in the Corona / Riverside area, you drove right passed my house getting to Joshua Tree, lol. I would have waived hi at you, lol.

I think he did say Idyllwild. I was thinking we had to be close to your area driving through, but I barely remember where I live let alone anyone else 😆
