When I was barfly after work downtown, Tecate was the best choice for a 3 dollar beer. Had been lookin for it in stores but havent seen any. Had a store special order one box for memory lane.



The previous label was way better

Tecate is a pretty good bear. I was drinking it in Mexico this week. Just flew home today. Got home today in time for the big game.

It's BA stouts and Barleywines for me all year round.

"Fresh hop" is some kind of borderline marketing gimmick thatd gained traction here. What I like about it, is there are new Reds available. I miss when reds were more popular, about 10 years back

Saw this at the store and was drawn to it. Best beer I have had in a while. Almost has an IPA taste to it, orange comes through a tad but not overpowering.

Glad you clarified that! I was going to say, nothing like an open beer can in the car! Anyway, looks like a good beer. I've never had a honey beer.

I used to drink many different dark beers. Loved Guinness, Bells Porter, Sam Adams Scotch Ale. Heck long ago I used to drink Michelob Dark. Anyone remember that?? Hell at this point anyone remember regular old Michelob??

My local store has the 12-pack of stubby bottles for under $15 now. It has become my go-to. It's also the only beer that isn't eating my stomach up.

Yep, too heavy for me. I remember seeing the dark for a short time then it just disappeared. Anything from AB all tasted the same to me.

We couldn't get Michelob Golden light up until 15 years ago. It was 5.5 or 6 abv, which was illegal for sale in Iowa as a "light" beer. I think they made it 4.5 or so to sell that here. Don't think I have ever seen a standard Michelob.

I did just pick this up yesterday. Will have some this weekend.

Drank this at the Dream Theater concert 2 days ago. Not a fan, but 8s was my 1st time drinking a 19.2 oz can of anything.

It's not bad, I like it! Seems like the only place I've seen 19.2 oz. cans are at music venues or shows.
