I love modelos. Currently drinking liqueur shots though
I think it was a fad that just played itself out, I tend to see the rise and fall of craft beer parallels the rise and fall of millennials hipsters

This is a curious observation, didn't all of the generalized 'styles' fizzle out with the hipsters at the same time? I don't really see 'genre's of styling anymore. Like what's next? Maybe cyberpunk once augmented reality sets foot, otherwise its coming out of left field
Speaking of style fads, the pixie haircut movement of around 2012 were the darkest times![]()
At first I disagree but Im leaning in to it. The exceptions I were thinking of are amalgamating established sub-cultures. Just like when you said something to the effect of "because they intend to squeeze every last bit of joy out of everything." I think it was in BC chat, maybe referencing car colors or something. I thought that was just too cynical and generalized for a statement, but it rings more true as each day passes by and I have a quick giggle often.Honestly I think it happened well before then. The 1990s was the last definable era as far as style, everything since has been a conscious or unconscious regurgitation/amalgamation of various western 20th century fashions. Clothing, cars, music, movies you name it.
Same here!I still seek new beers every time I travel.

Have all of the beer drinkers here noticed a shift away from craft breweries? I'm seeing the market shift locally as 3 are coming together in one location here in town. I've heard they've been having struggles and wondered if it was country wide
Single Speed is joining with Peach Tree and Backpocket. I'd be ok with it but the city is giving them a bunch of funds to do this and another tax deferral. We do too much of that around here. Give money to businesses that won't thrive if we don't have more job growth in the area. Cart before the horse kind of stuff.It’s been a a minute but last time I was in Waterloo, I was surprised at the number of craft beer places and the quality. Hope they don’t go away. Several big name breweries in Atlanta have closed.
When I travel, I always look for local breweries and tap houses to visit.
```````````` ive only ever had modelos in glass, and i havent had much beer, but a friend bought me one and i stuck to it. if i drink light its gonna be a modelo. If i want to not move for 4 hours and be wasted i pull out the cheapo 99s.Modelo is way better than Corona but it tastes like Miller Lite to me(yuck).
