Jeez! They went to a lot of trouble to make it look that shitty, lol. Look at the waves in the body where they shaved the fins, lol.

Man I never thought to compare them side by side to notice the fins chopped off too! I tried not to stare at it too long

Imagine the junkyard's look of disappointment when they find out there's no recyclable metal left under all the bondo lol

I can hear Jackie Gleason saying: "The first thing I'm gonna do when I get home is punch your momma in the mouth."
This one is still the best "your momma" insult I've ever heard. Also seems fitting for the abominations pictured above.

Not an mn12 but a cool 67 Tbird.
Been on Craigslist for over a month and the price has been dropped several times... I think it started out at $2500.

I never liked those, really goofy front end design, bland bodyshape, those stupid landau bars and the other weird things of that generation like retrograde switch to BOF, 4 doors, dropping the convertible etc. Not a high point for the Tbird.

Having said that it would be cool to clone one into the hot wheels version with a power bulge hood, high riding air shocks, huge redwalls and zoomies!

The 4 door cars of that body were suicide doors.

That's the other goofy thing they did with those, dropped the convertible body that sort of defined the Tbird look, even with the hardtop, and replaced it with a weird 4 door style even less people bought.

I found a suicide door one at a yard a few years back, I bought the taillight sequencer thinking it was worth something, but nope lol!

My Dad had a 68 Tbird, with the follow-me taillights. I took that motor/relay apart and cleaned allthe contacts, and it worked for a week. :( I searched on the early internet, and found a plug in electronic version for 100 bux, so I bought one for him. Be fucked if I was taking it apart again, lol.

My buddy had a 67 I think .. the 429 made over 400 horses, because it wasn't SAE corrected. 🤣

The 429 came out in 1968, replacing the FEs, no 429 was rated at over 400 including the Boss, the Super Cobra Jet version in the Torinos were only rated at 370 horsepower. I've always heard those CJ numbers (both 428 and 429) were underrated some for rising insurance premiums.

Published horsepower numbers have always been fluff anyway, Gross is on an engine dyno with zero accessories and free flowing exhaust, SAE is on an engine dyno with all accessories and the model specific exhaust. No manufacturer rates their cars to this day with the horsepower actually put out at the rear wheels so neither gross or SAE actually tell you what your car's engine actually truly makes in it.

Let me clarify ..

My buddy had a 1968 Tbird .. he claimed the 429 made over 400 horsepower because it was pre-SAE.

My other friend had a 1967 with a 429 .. in a cadillac. 😉

A civil war relic!

That looks like a bunch of 80's square lights on top of synthetic turf, 😂

4 boxes of tampons. I had one like that, a 79. I think the one pictured is previous, but idk. 5.0, but a brick.
