No mistakes, just happy accidents

The NASCAR wing was awesome.

Curious to see the final result.

Why lose the wing? It didnt look bad, imho.
The trunk/wing was twisted so it didn't make sense to use it, and the wing was made from cheap home Depot supplies so it didn't make sense to spend the time to save it.

Wile, I don't know if you had already said, but are you going to keep it the same color or go for a different color?

I'm still going back and forth. If I run out of time for the season, I'll rattle can the mismatched panels red. But if I have time, I want to go with a livery that would suit a drift car.

I keep getting a headache trying to read the schematics so can someone please tell me what these plugs/relays are? It's a 1990 SC dash harness. I already removed the Radio and auto light parts of the harness.

Are you doing a standalone ecu or just trimming down the stock harness?

Triming down the stock stuff. Saves money.

If I have to literally follow wires back for me to cut them out then I will but I can't follow the schematics.

I would actually be more helpful to see the wire colors than connector styles. A lot of that is way different on early MN12s than later MN12s I’m far more familiar with but the first pic is definitely the secondary junction block(basically a fuse block without fuses) the second pic looks like the blower motor plug, but the third and fourth I’m not truly sure.

Ill try to get them for you.

Issue I have with the schematics is that it tells me the circuits codes and the wire colors. I need a pin out of the main connector with circuit descriptions like you can find for the EECs.

Once I get rid of the wires in the main connector I can just strip it back.

Plus it's just hard for me to navigate through them cause I can't zoom out far enough.

Started looking up part numbers. Pic 4 is the blinker relay and door buzzer. That'll be left.

Found today. Gold cars starting to rust around the back window. Need to clear out the wiring B's and then move it in the garage so I can get the molding off and see how bad it is.

Why is it that I always get the weirdest fucking rust spots

Here is a link to the complete 1990 large-format wiring diagram set in the highest resolution I could get it. I also included the standard circuit chart (by number and color) from the front of the book. I figured this would be the most valuable to you for nit-picking the whole car. If you can't see anything clearly, or if you need anything from any of the other manuals just hit me up.

Would this also apply to a 93 sc?

Some basic stuff would be applicable but there was a lot of wiring changes that took place by 93(like colors for circuits or the Teves IV ABS layout), so depending on what you’re working on you’d actually possibly have an easier time using diagrams for a 94-95 to reference for your application.

So I should probably invest in a manual for my year? Need to delete lots of stuff from the harness when I get to that point in the build. Any recommendations for a manual?

Is it garbage? Yes.
Is it permanent? Not right now, but it might be if the resin finds a way through.
Gonna do the other side tomorrow, then it's gelcoat and fiberglass time.

Yes. Nothing will top one of these, and like this one they can still be had ridiculously cheap.

The factory service manuals are good to pick up as well but it’s less year specific and there are arguably better procedures for diagnosis and repair gathered here on the forums than they have. The EVTMs however are basically essential when it comes to digging into wiring for a specific year.

Thank you sir

The skirted fenders are not easing my easy rod suspicions 😝
It won't be an easy rod, but idk if you guys will like what I'm actually doing any better lol
