Post a picture you took today

Dad looks busy!

Almost a solid two days of cutting, fitting, rerouting and wrapping. Turned out nice. Looks insane in the picture. Have tonpost the finished product

I love the 71-73s, it’s almost a dirty secret to be a ford guy and say that sometimes but i always liked them since I was a little kid.

Fun fact* it’s the only first gen Mustang where the shock towers have reasonable clearance AND the only first gen Mustangs where the trunk floor isn’t the damn gas tank 🙄

Details! I see it has 302, Coupe, fastback, Mach !? What are his (your) plans?

Both of my brothers had 71-73 Mustangs, I was the early guy with the gas tank being the trunk floor! 😬

It's a coupe. Plan for now is rebuild the engine, add FI, Trickflow heads, go to a modern AC system, install a AOD from a '89 XR7, replace everything brake/suspension related, paint the engine bay, add SFC's, and probably stick some Magnum 500 wheels on it. Want to make it a nice cruiser for my Mom and Dad. It's been in the back of his shop since the late-80's, but it's in amazing condition for having sat that long.

Finally got my TV antenna installed and wired in. We cut the cord years ago but I've been procrastinating getting the antenna up since we moved in this house last year.

Now that most of Tennessee's away games are OTA, it was time to get the ladder out. I wanted to mount it at the top of the eave, but my ladder doesn't stretch that tall. I'll have the roofers move it whenever I get it replaced.

Remember when I showed my functional oil pressure gauge on a high 90s day and shocking and awing you guys with how low it was?

Consistently inconsistent lol Can’t imagine why Ford stopped using variable senders 😆

Is that oil temp or oil pressure gauge? because mine always sits on the high side. I just chalked it up to my high-pressure oil pump. Am I missing something?

A little noisy but I'm sure it really does the job!

Came up yesterday on these 4 monolith m10 v1’s for 800$. Only got a chance to run one and watched Jurassic park, holy moly haha never had a powered sub at home. Thing sounds pretty good for being a 10”. The plan is to keep 2 and sell 2. Literally don’t have the space or wall power to run them all. Gonna get some XLR cables today and try out 2 after work.

I think it's missing one leather washer that controls end-play, but I'm not tearing it back apart, at least not at the moment. It's destined to be a "wall hanger" for the shop; it won't actually see any real use.
Discovered the reason why it was noisy on the first startup. I had lightly oiled everything while reassembling, thinking that was plenty. Nope. Reading up on these fans, they take 20cc's of oil (a lot of oil, IMO) in the shaft. I squirted some in and it's nice and quiet now.

Took the little Honda for a few laps around the block tonight… I’ve been going back and forth lately on selling it, thinking it’s out of my system, but it sure is fun when the weather isn’t nuclear meltdown hot whilst trying to be pseudo safe in a leather jacket for a few miles at no more than 35mph 😆

My wife has been making quilts lately. Knowing everything that goes into doing it well, I have a new respect for and appreciate the attention to detail of anyone who makes them from scratch.
