No this was from pits week.Did you come down for the rod run? Nice car! A co-worker had one, he bought it because his old mustang couldn't keep up with Lazarus on the curves going into the plant. So he bought one with irs, and a blower.

"It's still a piece of crap but its a good piece of crap..."Actually the later Northstar motors aren’t that bad. They still leak oil from everywhere, and they changed the design on the water pump so it takes 6 hours to replace it instead of 30 minutes like the old design, but they did fix the problem of the head bolts pulling the threads out of the blocks, so as long as you keep oil in it, they will continue to run for a long time.
The wheels I took off the 2006 Lucerne had a 3800.You could still get Lucerne’s with the 3800, no?
Yeah, pretty much. But also 300hp, so there’s that."It's still a piece of crap but its a good piece of crap..."

Picked up a bit of a project yesterday. Have been looking for a set of these for my old F150 for a while. Filthy and the tires are junk but the wheels are actually pretty decent. Going to strip the clearcoat and repolish . Will post an after pic.

Meaty tires and muscle looking rims. Love itView attachment 11534got the wheels cleaned up and polished. The clearcoat was rough but not all stone bruised so striped the clear off and polished.Need tires, couple center caps and lugnuts gonna make my old beater cool!
What rims are those?? I like the look of them. Might need to find some if i pick up another mn12/ fn10. I really want a mk8 ive had a continental but never the mk 8I noticed mulch went on sale today, so I went to get my annual ration of 90 bags (5 yards). $36/yd is a pretty good rate, so I suffer through the ritual of making a few trips and loading/unloading all these bags every year.
Taking the Mark just to see the reactions of the store employees is always worth it - they always think I'm nuts to claim 30 bags will fit in the car (well, maybe they're right).
12 in the trunk, 15 on the back seat, and 3 on the passenger seat. Best part: air ride hides the fact that there's anything in it at all.
Who needs an SUV?
(P.S. It is so satisfying to finally watch the poa trivialis in the yard dying off)

Those are pretty for factoryFactory LSC wheels. There is a silver painted aluminum version on the non LSCs; the LSC got the Chrome version.
The chrome spirals are what's on lazarus.I had another set, but only 1 survived the stuck throttle. So I have a full size spare.Factory LSC wheels. There is a silver painted aluminum version on the non LSCs; the LSC got the Chrome version.
