Copper is supposed to be as harder or harder than aluminum on the MOS scale depending on the aluminum alloy (3 vs 2.5-3).

Hard drawn or soft rolled ? Annealed copper is much easier to bend.

I think any of these regardless of material are annealed so they seal.

My goal was to drive my Tbird’s as much as possible this year, but this is really killing that goal. The street is a total mess, and the chin spoilers on both cars are just dirt plows getting into the driveway.

Water lines, they’ve been at it since the end of June, and recently started digging up most of the street.
My water has been free since then though because we’re hooked up to a fire hydrant, and the water is back fed into my house.
Kinda bummed about not being able to get my cars out so easily, our daily drivers are a mess.

Hey ..

I see one operator, a supervisor, a signal man and a competent person ( dirt inspector ) .. takes a team to do the job right.

They're doing something similar in my neighborhood. So far they've only potholed to determine soil conditions for the water mains; if there are too many rocks, the gopher won't work and they'll have to trench across the street. That was a month ago and they haven't been back since.

I’m honestly shocked the V10 Mustang still exists, I had heard years ago the body got crushed and the engine from it transferred into the Cobra concept car.
