Saw my first one on the freeway this afternoon. Dude had it wrapped, like you said. In this case, camo-print green with "splatter" style font saying cyber-something on the side...
 
Less impressive than an aircraft carrier, last weekend I went to the Malaise Daze show (never heard of it, but it seems to happen more than once a year?) at the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo? Years ago I worked in El Segundo, about 3 blocks away from this place, I had no idea it existed hahaahaa. Anyway, it's a moderate little museum with a small parking lot that can hold maybe 30 cars. On this day some of the best of the worst were there.

Reminds me of our MN12 Cougars with the colored dashes, hahaaha, but we don't get anything that neon. I would drive that everywhere. Wearing sunglasses, of course, I want to be able to see where I'm going.
 
Agreed, the 7s are very serious cars. Even the chime/bell is serious. Can't say I recall having seen one in person
 
Thats a hot mess. Imagine doing all of that and then ducking down and staying in the lot
 
Nice!! I've done burnouts like that in my old tbird in the HS parking lot, lol. Sux to get busted by the cops marking up the driver's ed course. :)

Yeah the main one is a sexy flame top, this one is a plain top veneer( or so I heard, which seems kinda pointless)

Yours looks even better than that one. but same style. It looks like I could build a marshall amp from hell for about $500. 8 el34's in parallel, 12ah7 preamp and tone. 280Wrms That'll drive 4 12's!

The most expensive parts are the transformers, I looked into this several years ago on the metro amp forum. Chassis, tubes, various components aren’t that expensive but once you get into chokes, transformers and vintage flavored caps the budget spins out of control wildly.

That was with a 100w build but the reality is all the components are basically the same for a 45/50w or even 20 watt minus the two extra power tubes
