Post a picture you took today

Our daughter arrived at 1:36am today, three weeks ahead of schedule.

Wife's contractions began around 9pm, water broke at 11:30pm, hospital arrival at 12:45am, baby pushed out and in momma's arms within 45 minutes.

Mom and baby are doing well.

May your baby and your family be blessed with good health and happiness. Congratulations! I bet mom is tired.

Congrats @Derphound01 ! My first was 5 weeks early, she had some issues with GERD that were supposedly because of the fact. Something to watch for

Just like red cars. Fast looking cars get noticed, and noticed usually more by the authorities. Bummer dude. I don't know if you got a ticket, but that's like, 8 Big Makes you could have bought!
I've never been pulled over in my red car, funny enough lolIMG_20240224_175249955_HDR.jpg

Congratulations!

Very nice Chander8. How far are you out from getting it installed / running?

Congrats! Glad to hear everything went well!

Well the old motor is 2 bellhousing bolts and the motor mounts away from getting yanked, and the new one is nicely dressed besides the pulleys and flywheel. So potentially a good days work? Worst a couple days? Really depends on how smoothly things go. This one has been really fighting back

Thanks, everybody. :zbeer:

Funny enough once baby was out and fed, we all went to sleep. It was a fully unmedicaded birth so there was no coming down from the drugs. She was up and walking around again by 2am. We all passed out around 4am and woke up at 7am. Been napping throughout the day off and on too. It's been about as easy of a birth as we could have asked for and we're planning to go home in the morning.

We've had hiccups but so far that's been it. Our first had the reflux but he was born on his due date. I have it bad too but that's another story for another day.
Congratulations! 🍼 Is she your first one?

Joe
Nope, we also have a 2.5 year old boy. He's a big reason why I bought my Thunderbird. It's going to be our project as the years go on.

I'll never forget, my friends girlfriend drives a red car, and people are quick to let them into a lane. Its happening more and more with our cars too

I always found the red car thing to be a myth to get people to buy boring colors. I drive a red car every day, only ticket I ever got was in the white Cougar.
I got pulled over at least once a month when I had a red Wrangler but never got a ticket. I've only had a ticket in a black Volkswagen with 115hp.

Even the seats have chrome! Those are nice seats

Got rear ended in the Edge literally while leaving the hospital to take the baby home. Careless 16 year-old and his stoner friend assumed I was turning right on red and didn't stop. Luckily nobody was hurt and the damage was minor. Annoyingly, I just got the Edge back from its transmission replacement last Wednesday.

Also lucky for them both is that 911 heard the entire exchange after the crash. The Edge called automatically over SYNC and the wife was talking to them while I was assessing everything. I had opened the back door to check on the now-squalling baby when his pothead friend started mouthing off about needing to leave the scene before the cops arrived to "get to work on time". I told him to get back in the car and wait for the police.

Then he walked up to my wife — who mind you had just delivered a baby entirely unmedicated 36 hours prior — and attempted to justify his case. I told him very unkindly to get back in the car. He started shouting at us with 911 still on the line until the entire block heard the dispatcher shout "GET BACK IN THE CAR" over SYNC. That saved them both from some unfortunate consequences after he approached my wife.

The kid who was driving called his mom before the cops got there and tried to give his case. Even went as far to ask her to come out and give the pothead a ride to work. She heard the baby crying in the background and demanded to speak to me. I explained what was going on and she went nuclear on her kid. She made it very clear that she would take care of our damages and then proceeded to ream him a new rectum over the phone.

THP arrived and took down all my info. They gave me a crash report number and sent us home. I filed the claim against his insurance on the drive home.
